Matter Management
CaseTrack Matter Management provides the basis for effectively managing all aspects of your legal matters. Gain valuable insight into any and all matters being handled by the legal department - regardless of matter type. Track matter assignments, outside counsel effectiveness, key dates, matter status and historical matter outcomes.
Electronic Billing
Achieve greater efficiencies and reduce costs using CaseTrack's E-Billing Module. Streamline the entire bill review process from invoice submission to final payment. Flexible options for vendor invoice submission, configurable billing guidelines, pending invoice notifications and customizable approval workflow.
Legal Hold Management
Effectively manage preservation requests using CaseTrack's Legal Hold Module. Record hold order details, maintain a list of data custodians, send notification and subsequent reminder
e-mails, and track acknowledgments. Streamline the notification process with built-in e-mail integration.
Document Management
Manage all of your matter related documents in CaseTrack. Using the built-in Related Document features, link electronic files (e.g., documents, e-mail, faxes, images, spreadsheets) to matters, view a list of these files, and launch the files directly from within CaseTrack. Alternatively, leverage current investments in enterprise document management systems such as Hummingbird DM and Interwoven Worksite.
Accounts Payable Integration
Integrate CaseTrack with your existing Accounts Payable system. CaseTrack's A/P Import/Export Utilities facilitate the exchange of billing information with corporate A/P Systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, Walker, Ariba). The A/P Export utility facilitates the export of information from approved invoices to a data file for submission to Accounts Payable. The A/P Import Utility loads a data file into CaseTrack that includes payment information returned from Accounts Payable.
Contract Management
Manage contracts and other agreements using CaseTrack. Track lease information, contract amendments and sub-agreements. Maintain critical dates with automatic user notifications within the application or through integration with Microsoft Outlook® -or- Lotus Notes™.
Internal Timekeeping
Measure the workload and efficiency of your legal department. Track time spent by in-house staff on each matter using standard UTBMS or custom task codes. Apply billable rates to each timekeeper and "charge-back" work performed by the legal department for internal business units.
File Room Management
Catalogue the content, status and physical location of paper files. Make full use of bar-coding features for record check-in and check-out. Archive inactive files and create customizable records retention policies for file destruction.
